In astrology, a negative, receptive, passive, yin, feminine[1] assurance refers to any of the six even-numbered signs of the zodiac: Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces.[2] These signs aggregate the apple and baptize triplicities.

Negative signs are in adverse to absolute signs, which accredit to any of the six odd-numbered signs of the zodiac and are of blaze and air triplicities: Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.[3] The abrogating and absolute signs alternate, starting with Aries as absolute and Taurus as abrogating and continuing this arrangement through the account of zodiac signs.
